Coronavirus/COVID-19 Student Emergency Assistance Funding

Due to the impact of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 outbreak, University Life has established a process for students seeking temporary, short-term, financial assistance.

Funding is available to students who meet the eligibility criteria, and is made possible by the generous support of George Mason University and donors committed to helping students succeed.

Financial Aid

To assist you with the financial aid process, Mason’s Office of Student Financial Aid has a team of dedicated professionals available to help you and your family. The Financial Aid staff will work with you annually as you re-apply for financial assistance each year you attend Mason.

If you’re interested in applying for financial aid, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and submit it to the federal processor by January 15, or March 1 for transfer students.  For more information, please visit How to Apply for Financial Aid. Prince William ACTION in Community Through Service

ACTS services are separated into two main categories: Crisis Services and Human Services. In addition, Helpline (703-368-4141) provides an anonymous crisis telephone service as well as resource referrals. The support groups sponsored by Helpline are essential to people who have lost a loved one to suicide or who have attempted suicide. Each of the programs addresses the mission of ACTS: to alleviate hunger, homelessness and interpersonal violence in order to help individuals achieve self-sufficiency.

For Patriots with Pets in Need

Utilize the Prince William Humane Society Pet Pantry for emergency pet food requests. Should you find yourself in need of pet food, please call us at 703-634-0880 x 0 to set up an appointment.
