One of the best ways to protect yourself and our Mason community is to get your flu shot each year. Student Health Services offers flu shots for students, faculty, and staff at the Fairfax, Arlington, and Science and Technology Campus clinics. Available seasonally, while supplies last. Check for availability.

Students with the UnitedHealthcare StudentResources insurance plan can get their flu shot for FREE at any Student Health Services clinic; your insurance covers the cost of the flu vaccination at an in-network provider.  It is also helpful to bring a copy of your health insurance id card.

Students with other health insurance – contact your health insurance provider before getting your flu shot with Student Health.  With most plans, the flu vaccine is generally a covered service as long as you get it in-network (Dept. of Health and Human Services). Use the CDC flu vaccine finder tool below or contact your health insurance provider about where you can get your flu vaccine. Student Health cannot guarantee payment by your insurance company.
