The Piedmont Trail is a walking, hiking and running 1.2 mile loop situated within a 10 acre hardwood forest and wetland located on the George Mason University Science & Technology Campus near the Freedom Aquatic and Fitness Center in Prince William county.

Volunteers will spread mulch on the trail and around elements of The EDGE’s challenge course; thus protecting both the environment and course participants.

Bring water to stay hydrated, gloves if you have them and a snack. Wear comfortable clothing and closed toed and heeled shoes that you won’t mind getting dirty or wet!

Volunteers will gather under the tent located in the woods under the power line. Park in the Freedom Aquatic and Freedom Center lot and access the tent through the spilt rail fence.

THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE EVENT! If George Mason is closed due to weather, we will reschedule.
